Travel Insurance: Why It Matters

"An emergency medical evacuation from Southeast Asia costs between $50,000 and $150,000. A single night in a US hospital emergency room averages $2,200. Travel insurance for a $3,000 trip costs $90–150. The math is not complicated." — US Travel Insurance Association, 2025 Industry Data
